Lehner's salary won't go against the cap

Episode 939 Published 1 year, 3 months ago
Description
In an "unprecedented and highly unique case." according to Emily Kaplan's (ESPN) sources, the Golden Knights will pay goalie Robin Lehner his remaining $4.5-million and the salary will not go against the team's salary cap. The NHL, NHLPA and the Golden Knights resolved the issue this week. One report said VGK could accrue salary cap for each day they are compliant. That would mean more money at the NHL trade deadline for VGK. We recap the loss to the Avs and preview Saturday's preseason finale vs the Sharks. And it's WTF with fan comments.
