VGK closes out the New Year with a matinee against the Montreal Canadiens at T-Mobile Arena in a 12 noon faceoff. The Golden Knights defeated the Habs in the first meeting in Montreal 6-2 by erupting for five straight goals in the 2nd period. The Canadiens will be playing their third game in four days.
