The Golden Knights closed out the 2024 calendar year with a loss to the Montreal Canadiens 3-2. VGK squandered a 2-0 lead. Bruce Cassidy wasn't happy with the performance saying "Those were points we should have had." It was a sloppy game for VGK, giving up two goals off key turnovers.
