The Golden Knights suffered their fourth straight loss in falling to the St. Louis Blues 5-4 in a shootout. VGK rallied from two goals down in 2:40 to force overtime. Jack Eichel and Mark Stone missed shots in close that would have ended the game, before the Golden Knights fell in the shootout, 2-1. Jack Eichel and Pavel Dorofeyev scored the late VGK goals. The Golden Knights continued to give up goals late in periods - the Blues Nathan Walker scored with :17 to go in the first. Cam Fowler scored for StL with :31 remaining in the second period.
