However, the White Sox capitalized on Detroit's pitching woes, extending their lead with four more runs in the 7th inning and securing a decisive 9-5 victory. Parker Meadows had a solid game at the plate, going 2-4 with a run scored. Reliever Keider Montero held the line with three innings of work but could not contain the White Sox's offense.
