It's Fathers Day here in the United States, and while it's a beautiful time to celebrate all the men who have stepped into the role of protecting, teaching, and providing for others, it's a day where others, like myself, are reminded we never got to experience that.

This is a vulnerable confession of what it's like to grow up without any masculine presence in your life.
