In this early No Filler episode, we kicked off our deep dive into indie rock gods Spoon. We started with A Series of Sneaks, where Spoon still had their feet firmly planted in the alt rock post punk that came before them (think Pixies and Sonic Youth). We chat about how the label's lackluster support for the record jaded the band and how it ultimately helped set the tone for the album that followed, and the band we now know and love.
