On the other hand, God tells His people to “be strong and courageous. This is a command, not a suggestion. You might wonder how could God expect us not to be afraid—and the answer is both simple and profound: it is because He promises to strengthen us and be with us. It’s His strength that helps us not to be afraid, not ours, and it’s available to every Believer!
