As the Republican landscape shapes up for 2024, I feel a warning must be issued: the in-fighting, the bullying, the lack of a cohesive vision for the future… is all very troubling. The Republican party lacks true statesmen leaders—and as a result, we have descended into partisan tribalism. Unity is not found in canceling fellow Conservatives or in political elitism on either side of the aisle. Either we address this now, and bring back statesmanship and true civic engagement, or we risk continuing to lose ground in 2024.
