Description
Good morning, Columbus! This is your Weather Watchdog with the latest forecast that's more unpredictable than a cat on a hot tin roof.
Today, we're looking at increasing clouds with a high near 34 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will start calm and then get a bit playful, cruising in from the east at around 6 miles per hour in the afternoon.
Tonight gets interesting, folks! We've got a slight chance of snow before midnight, then potentially some freezing rain. Temperatures will dip to around 27 degrees Fahrenheit with an east wind around 7 miles per hour. Don't expect much snow accumulation, though.
Saturday brings a winter weather cocktail - freezing rain transitioning to plain old rain. Temperatures will climb to 44 degrees Fahrenheit with a south wind between 6 and 10 miles per hour. We might see a tiny bit of ice accumulation, less than a tenth of an inch.
Saturday night continues the rain party, with temperatures around 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect between 1 and 2 inches of precipitation.
Sunday starts with rain, then a mix of rain and snow, potentially changing to just snow later in the day. Temperatures hover around 41 degrees Fahrenheit with west winds up to 17 miles per hour and gusts reaching 32 miles per hour.
The rest of the week looks chilly, with mostly sunny and partly sunny days, and temperatures ranging from the low to mid-twenties.
