First, imagine launching your own private plastic surgery practice. Specifically, you have no prior experience, skip a fellowship, and do it just as the world shuts down due to COVID-19. Amazingly, that's exactly what Dr. Motakef did.

Indeed, starting from scratch, Dr. Motakef had the courage to leave a hospital setting. In turn, he took the leap into private practice. Without a doubt, there was no time for traditional paths. Instead, he relied on resourcefulness. Then, he turned to his mother-in-law to help run his new office. At the same time, he quickly adapted to the challenges of the pandemic.

Miraculously in just a few years, his practice has flourished. Specifically, he built a strong team and honed his vision. Moreover, he created a culture of excellence by learning to hire—and fire—quickly to maintain his standards.

Now, he's on the brink of another milestone. As a result, he plans to expand into a larger office space to offer in-house procedures.
