President Trump says that, after a lengthy call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russia is ready to 'immediately' start negotiations for peace with Ukraine. Russia has been at war with Ukraine since invading their neighbor in February of 2022. There are early concerns by Ukraine and other European nations that giving up too much to Russia will hand them a win and reasons to start another conflict.
FOX’s John Saucier speaks with Dr. Rebecca Grant, Senior Fellow for the Lexington Institute based in Washington, DC, who says NATO membership for Ukraine is an important part for lasting peace.
