A night of sleepless struggles as I suffer through great loss and feel great shame for 'how I am' -- and attempt to be with the moment 'as it is, as well as negotiate with the differing parts of myself as they weigh in on my worth versus my failures. These nocturnal negotiations are not for the faint of heart. Perhaps they are for the heart which feels faint, and seeks a hand to hold, an ear of understanding, or a hug which spans all time and space.
