At first, the songs of the Gin Blossoms were catchy and spirited. The lyrics, however, told the story of someone's pain. That pain was the life of Doug Hopkins with it's complexity, artistry and tragic end.
This week, we start our Listener Gift series with a tribute to the man behind some of the most popular songs of the early 90's. Doug's story had to be told, and his life remembered as a musician and human being.
