This week on 'Teach Me Pls' we're joined by Dr. Hunter Fujak from Deakin University. Hunter is a lecturer in Sports Management and has consulted within media and sponsorship for some of Australasia's largest sporting leagues, events & brands. This guy genuinely knows just about everything to do with sport. We spoke about what makes a sport popular within Australia, including grassroots participation, media coverage, entertainment - this list goes on. We covered commercialisation, broadcast agreements, the difference in sport governance around the country, athletes and plenty plenty more!
