This quote by Rumi reminds us that the entire universe is contained in a single human being – you.
Because the universe only exists in your perceptions. What you see of it, that is the whole of reality. Because you create your thoughts, and your thoughts create your intentions, and your intentions create your reality or your universe.
When you separate from yourself and look only outward for your thoughts or sense of self you eliminate the possibility of changing your perception through self-reflection and healing.
Looking inward or inside, is where the answers to the reality you desire can be found. When you drop into your heart and out of your head you can change your thoughts about yourself and the world. This is why meditation or prayer is so important in creating the world (reality) you desire. Both inside you and out.
Every single person sees the world differently. And that is truly amazing.
