Episode Details

The next episode of Void Signal has been delayed due to the recent events with Mindless Self Indulgence's Jimmy Urine.

Hey, this is Rose from Void Signal.

Today news broke of Jimmy Urine, real name James Euringer, being sued for (allegedly) sexually assaulting and abusing a 15-year-old girl when he was 27 years old.

The suit filed by the woman, whose identity is anonymous because of her age at the time, alleges that Euringer "groomed and manipulated [her] into believing that his sexually assaultive behavior was not criminal and that by engaging in sexual activity with him she (the plaintiff and victim) was actually helping to protect younger girls from sexual assaults.”

There are additional details about this abuse, but we won't provide that information here.

Our host Brian has interviewed Euringer twice during his time as a journalist and in the spirit of Void Signal being a place for casual and candid conversation, we have uploaded one of these old interviews from 2018 with the idea that there could be some value in hearing it.

Perhaps it may help us in trying to understand how someone can take advantage of us. Perhaps there might be some insight into Euringer's narcissistic, predatory personality that could help you, or someone you love, recognize potential predatory behavior. You can visit http://rainn.org if you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual abuse.

As always thank you for supporting Void Signal and please discuss your thoughts and opinions about this topic on any of our social media and visit VoidSignal.net for more.
