This episode is all about the power of being seen—what it means, why it matters, and how it can be both terrifying and life-changing, especially for trans folks, and especially today.

Rachael shares her journey from hiding (even from herself) to fully embracing visibility as a trans person, and how photography (both selfies and photoshoots in the Empowerment Studio) played a huge role in her self-acceptance. We talked so much about community, self-love, and the magic of seeing yourself the way others do.

We are at a time where being visibly trans, or out and proud as a trans person, is an incredibly vulnerable thing. We recorded this episode before our current administration (🤮) took office -- but the message here is only more potent and relevant than ever before. If you're trans, I hope you listen to this episode as a warm hug, knowing you're in excellent company and there are so many people right here in the Empowerment Studio who love you.
