A series of mysterious sudden deaths swept across the Chicagoland area in the fall of 1982, leaving the nation in a panic. We’d come to learn that a batch of Extra Strength Tylenol containing well above the lethal dose of potassium cyanide was to blame, forever changing the way consumers purchased over-the-counter medicine. 

One of the most infamous police task forces in American history would set out to investigate the heartbreaking loss of 8 innocent victims, running into one obstacle after the other the entire way.
