🚨President Donald Trump, at the Bitcoin Nashville event, unveiled plans for a "Strategic Bitcoin Reserve." This initiative would involve the U.S. government holding existing Bitcoins without selling them.
- In the USA 15 U.S. states (Republicans) are advancing legislation to create strategic bitcoin reserves, reflecting growing interest in cryptocurrency as a financial asset. Arizona and Utah are the closest to getting these bills signed into law.
- While the government would be able to purchase Bitcoin and retain it in reserve, the timeline for this process is expected to be longer than many market participants may have anticipated.
