When Mail Theft is an Inside Job
Investigator Greg Hons from the Santa Barbara County DA's office reports that there has been a drastic increase in theft that's taking place inside mail sorting facilities. While we understand that most postal workers are honest, a small percentage are stealing--and they're stealing a lot. Criminal syndicates are recruiting postal workers to move narcotics, and to steal checks, credit cards and gift cards from the mail. Be sure to listen to this episode and incorporate the valuable tips to reduce the likelihood of having your mail stolen.
