Description
Despite being named Hercules which is one of the oldest stories Walt Disney has adapted so far, in typical Disney fashion many of the details are glossed over or outright changed. For example the story of Megara is far more tragic than anything revealed in the movie (for obvious reasons).
We also talk at length about the differences between the Roman Hercules, the Greek Heracles he was adopted from and perhaps an even older deity called Ba'al Sur (son of Ba'al) and Melqart by the Phoenicians and Carthaginians.
