Description
Good morning, Chicago! This is your weather update for the next seven days, coming to you from the National Weather Service.

Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has in store for us. Tonight, we're looking at a chilly overnight period with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping to around 19 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect northwest winds blowing 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour - so keep that winter coat handy!

Moving into Friday, we'll see a slight warmup with partly sunny skies and temperatures reaching near 30 degrees Fahrenheit. The northwest wind will shift to a south southwest direction in the afternoon.

Friday night brings increasing cloud coverage and temperatures settling around 26 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be light and variable, eventually turning east southeast.

Saturday is where things get interesting, folks. We're anticipating a potential wintery mix with a chance of freezing rain before noon, transitioning to snow. Temperatures will hover around 33 degrees Fahrenheit with east southeast winds that could gust up to 20 miles per hour. Expect a possibility of light ice and snow accumulation.

The weekend continues with partly sunny conditions on Sunday, and temperatures returning to around 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Monday looks mostly sunny and slightly warmer, reaching 33 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next week brings a potential chance of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures hovering in the upper 20s. By Thursday, we'll see a return to mostly sunny skies.
