The religion of Climate Change has exacerbated the destruction by placing a higher value on natural habitats than its citizens. Governor Newsom cut the funding for wildfire and forest resilience by over $100 million. Mayor Karen Bass cut fire department funding by over $17 million, and one week before the wildfires erupted distributed a memo demanding another $48 million in reductions. Resident Joe Biden canceled controlled burns that could have prevented some of the massive destruction. Will the looney left realize the errors of their ways? Or will more property, people and pets have to be sacrificed at the altar of DEI?
