Description
Faith in A World of Fear and Turmoil, Don’t Be Dismayed, His Eye 👁 is on the Sparrow Part 1
By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba
2 Timothy 3:1 NLT
“You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times.”
If we ever needed the Lord before, My Lord, we sure do need Him now. O, we sure do need Him now, My Lord, I say, We sure do need Him now. O, glory! If we ever needed the Lord before, My Lord, we sure do need Him now. We need Him every day and every hour.
Luke 12:6-7
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Isaiah 49:13-16
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. 14But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. 15Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Matthew 6:26-27 NIV
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
Psalm 50:11
I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
Psalm 50:15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
He is watching over you, trembling child of God. Are you tempted? He will deliver. Are you weak? He will strengthen. Are you ignorant? He will enlighten. Are you wounded? He will heal. The Lord “telleth the number of the stars;” and yet “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” Psalm 147:4, 3. – {Ministry of Healing p. 71.5}
Whatever your anxieties and trials, spread out your case before the Lord. Your spirit will be braced for endurance. The way will be open for you to disentangle yourself from embarrassment and difficulty. The weaker and more helpless you know yourself to be, the stronger will you become in His strength. The heavier your burdens, the more blessed the rest in casting them upon your Burden Bearer.
Circumstances may separate friends; the restless waters of the wide sea may roll between us and them. But no circumstances, no distance, can separate us from the Saviour. Wherever we may be, He is at our right hand, to support, maintain, uphold, and cheer. Greater than the love of a mother for her child is Christ’s love for His redeemed. It is our privilege to rest in His love, to say, “I will trust Him; for He gave His life for me.” – {MH 72.2}
Human love may change, but Christ’s love knows no change. When we cry to Him for help, His hand is stretched out to save. – {Ministry of Healing p. 72}
Psalm 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
