It is a Fabuluos Friday on Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell. Right off of the heals of the St. Jude Radiothon, Erica starts the show, as always, with a word of prayer. Lord, thank you for waking us up. We thank you that we are more than conquerors. Thank you for strength, purpose, power, and victory. We thank you Lord Jesus for filling us and fueling us. Today on the Vintage Vault, we took it back with music from the late great Rev. Timothy Wright. His son, Pastor David Wright joined Get Up! Mornings as well today. Also today, Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr, Shayla Harris and Stacey L. Holman joined Get Up! Mornings today to talk about the four-part documentary Gospel on PBS. Harris and Holman serve as the directors and producers of the documentary. Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr serves as the executive producer of the documentary that highlights the importance of Gospel music in black history. All of this and more on Get Up!
