It is Thankful Thursday on Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell. JJ Hariston is sitting in for Erica today. He starts the show with a word of prayer. Father, we thank you for all that You have done and all that you are going to do. We thank you for waking us up with new mercy. Father, whatever you are going to do today, start with joy. During the Faith Walk today, JJ talked about being thankful and having a thankful heart. He referred to the scripture 1 Thessalonians 5:18; in all things, give thanks for this is the will of Christ Jesus concerning you. That means no matter what is going on, no matter how you are feeling, the Lord is expecting us to have a grateful heart.
