What's behind NAB's mortgage move?

The National Australian Bank is the first of the big four to cut its fixed-rate mortgages this year, lowering its three-year fixed rate to 5.84% after a five-basis-point cut on Monday. This is the second rate cut in less than three months, ahead of the RBA’s first 2025 meeting.
