Cardinals Cover 2 - No Christmas Miracle
Ep. 629 – Actually, it felt more like a recurring nightmare. Five straight losses the Cardinals have suffered; and this most recent one saw them blow a 10-point fourth-quarter lead. Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi look back at Sunday’s 19-16 overtime defeat to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Was the loss more a product of the Cardinals hurting themselves, i.e. turnovers and penalties? Or did it have more to do with giving Brady—perhaps the greatest quarterback to have ever played—too many extra opportunities late in the game and then, obviously, in overtime? Whatever the reason, it was not a very Merry Christmas.
