Nineteen years ago today, Emer O’Loughlin, a 23-year-old artist, died in a mobile home fire near Gort, Co Galway. Days after her death, John Griffin, the only suspect in the mysterious case, dissappeared, with gardaí believing he faked his own suicide. In 2010, Ms O'Loughlin's remains were exhumed during a cold case review — and tests confirmed she died a violent death. Nineteen years later, Emer’s family continue the fight to get justice.
