Mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor is facing a legal bill of around €1m after a judge ruled he must pay Nikita Hand’s legal costs following her successful civil rape claim against him. Mr Justice Alexander Owens also indicated he was considering bringing contempt proceedings against Mr McGregor over a social media post in which he described the court as “a kangaroo court”.
