Another title the Quran uses for Jesus is The Christ. Muslims were instructed to ask the Jews and the Christians if they did not understand any details about Jesus. The old testament refers to Jesus as the eternal ruler(1 Chronicles 17:14): Messiah,son of David will be the Son of God. Psalm 2 talks about Jesus being the eternal King on all the earth over all the nations; Jesus is the begotten Son of God(spiritually).
