Al Fadi and Sam Shamoun compare the presence of God in the Tabernacle in the Old Testament with Christ's incarnation and dwelling among us when he came to earth in human body(John 1). They also point out when Jews pray towards the temple they are acknowledging God's presence in it, not so the case when muslims face the Kaabah they do not say that God's presence is in it.
