Description
From an economic point of view, there is no good that could come from actually implementing protective tariffs. The key word being PROTECTIVE. Simply put tariffs increased the cost of goods to those who are purchasing them. If the cost of purchasing something increases, you are left with fewer resources to purchase additional goods. Trump, however, has figured out a way to get Mexico to put 10,000 of it's troops on our southern border to stop the flow of illegal immigration. So, from an immigration perspective, tariffs seems to work. We are living in crazy times!!!!!
