Back in 2005 when President Joe Biden was Sen. Joe Biden, he and 17 other Democrat senators created the student loan crisis he’s attempting to fix through student loan debt forgiveness. At the time, Biden and the other dem senators pushed changes in bankruptcy law on behalf of credit card companies, banks and private lenders by prohibiting struggling student loan borrowers from seeking relief from payments by filing for bankruptcy. This incentivized lenders to hand out larger student loans regardless of the persons ability to pay it back, and colleges invented more worthless degree programs simply because they could. As a result STUDENT DEBT TRIPLED in one decade.

Oh! And did I mention these lenders were the largest contributors to Biden’s senatorial campaign at the time?
