In this episode Carl totally debunks the Lie that Gov. Ron Desantis rejected the proposed AP African American studies from the College Board because he’s a racist. Carl cites Florida statutes that are already on the books and require lessons on African American history, including slavery, abolition, Jim Crow, black achievement, ramifications of prejudice and stereotyping, and contributions of black Americans. DeSantis and the FDOE rejected the curriculum proposed by the College Board because it was steeped in CRT, DEI, cultural Marxism, sexual material that was not age appropriate, perpetuated the very structural racism democrats claim they want to end.
