Description
Synopsis: This is a special episode of The Straits Times' video series The Big Story, hosted by Hairianto Diman and Olivia Quay.
Women aged between 21 and 35 in Singapore will soon be allowed to freeze their eggs for non-medical reasons, regardless of their marital status.
And by 2024, employers must consider staff requests for flexible work arrangements fairly and properly, under a new set of guidelines for such arrangements.
Ms Sun Xueling, Minister of State for Social and Family Development, and Ms Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for Manpower, discuss the changes outlined in a White Paper on Singapore Women's Development released on Monday (March 28).
