It was Moses, in the Old Testament, who had personal conversations with God in his tent, which he had set apart as the tabernacle of meeting. How we long for that kind of intimacy with God! And, through Jesus Christ, we have that kind of closeness with our Creator. We are invited to communicate with Him, to pour our hearts out to Him, and to hear from Him, and to rest in Him.
