OUTWEIGH: Comments like “Eat a burger!!” (when someone thinks a person needs to gain weight) or “Are you really going to eat that burger?”(when someone thinks a person needs to lose weight) are not okay. However, these comments happen (sometimes to often), and how we respond is up to us. Licensed therapist, Kat Defatta, joins Amy for this episode and she encourages curiosity over judgment when comments like this come up. Healthy conflict for the win!
