Presented by Coopers Board Store... In 2009 Joel Parkinson won three of the first five WCT events of the season to take what looked like an unbeatable lead on the Woz ratings. Barring catastrophe a long awaited World Title would surely be his. But when a mistimed air-rev in Bali destroyed his ankle at the halfway mark of the tour Joel's worst nightmares began to play out as another surfer went on a blinding back half of the season run. The surfer also happened to be his best mate. Mick Fanning.
