When we engage with the Bible, we often engage with it like a book or something that has few practical outflows for our lives. This can cause us to render God as inanimate or someone who is happy to deal with or understand our treatment of them.

Well, when it comes to the tithe and offerings, God lets us know how He feels about this. Throughout scripture, He shows us that it's a covenantal issue for Him. He will always commit to those He is in covenant with - His faithfulness is strongly displayed to such.
