Description
Good morning, Austin! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with today's weather scoop.
Hold onto your umbrellas, because we're looking at a wet and wild start to the day! Overnight, we've got showers and thunderstorms rolling through with some patchy fog. Temperatures are holding steady around 66 degrees, with south winds dancing around 5 miles per hour and gusting up to 20 miles per hour.
Thursday is looking like a soggy morning, folks. Expect showers and thunderstorms before 9 am, with some potentially heavy rainfall. That patchy fog will stick around until about 8 am, and temperatures will climb to a mild 74 degrees. Winds will shift from south southwest to northwest as the morning progresses.
Things start to clear up Thursday night, with mostly cloudy skies giving way to some gradual clearing. We'll cool down to around 49 degrees with calm winds.
Friday brings us some beautiful sunshine and a high near 72 degrees. Northwest winds will be gentle, around 5 to 10 miles per hour.
The weekend looks absolutely gorgeous! Saturday and Sunday are both looking sunny and warm, with temperatures climbing to 74 and 78 degrees respectively. By Sunday, we might see some light south southwest winds.
As we roll into next week, expect mostly sunny conditions with temperatures gradually warming up. Monday will hit near 82 degrees, and Tuesday will cool slightly to around 75.
