If people know your brand, they become familiar and comfortable with it. Uniforms, notebooks, business cards, and other branded items are all part of the deal as well.
People tend to perceive "bigger as better" - meaning that the more your brand is out there, the more your brand will be perceived as professional and trustworthy.
