Who Should Get a Star on Pittsburgh’s Walk of Fame?

Published 1 year, 2 months ago
Description

We love celebrating our own here in this city, and we’re quick to claim our hometown heroes when they make an appearance on a bigger stage. Now there’s a new nonprofit creating Pittsburgh’s very own Walk of Fame, so visitors can learn more about homegrown stars who’ve made an impact nationally. They’re asking for nominations through the end of the month. Nancy Polinsky Johnson, the project’s founder and executive director, is here to tell us how to submit nominees – and how they’re planning to pick whose names go on those shiny stars.

Plus, the City Cast Pittsburgh team’s weighing in! Here are our picks for Pittsburgh’s Walk of Fame.
