In episode 34, we sit down with Brant Anderson. He is the RB coach for the Iowa Western Reivers in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Iowa Western has been one of the most successful junior college programs in the country over the past few years. They won the national championship in 2022 and 2023 and lost a close one in 2024.
Coach Anderson has also been a high school head coach and lends a unique perspective to coaching ball with his experience at two levels of the game. He is a former college fullback at Midland University, where they ran the Wishbone. We do some reminiscing about old-school smash-mouth football while comparing and contrasting it to today's game.
