Dr John C Lilly (1915-2001) was a neuroscientist, psychoanalyst, psychonaut, inventor, a renaissance man who broke with all convention in his pursuit in the exploration of human consciousness. His work with Dolphins in the mid-sixties was funded by Nasa and made him so well known that he become the inspiration behind much pop culture including the films “The Day of the Dolphin” & “Altered States”. He predicted the dangers of computers & A.I in the 70s when he first encountered “The Solid-State Entity”! In this episode Jay & Aspasia take a brief glimpse into his life.
