Description
Good morning, Austin! I'm your weather buddy coming in hot (or should I say, cool) with today's forecast for Texas.

Let's break down what Mother Nature has in store for us. Overnight, we're looking at a chilly scene with partly cloudy skies and temperatures dipping down to a brisk 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be gentle from the north northwest at around 5 miles per hour.

Thursday is shaping up to be a stunner! Expect wall-to-wall sunshine with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 55 degrees Fahrenheit. The breeze will be dancing from the north northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour, with occasional gusts up to 20 miles per hour.

As we roll into Thursday night, we'll see mostly clear skies and another cool evening settling in around 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Friday brings more sunny goodness with temperatures reaching near 58 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will start calm and then shift to a soft south breeze in the afternoon.

The weekend's looking a bit more dramatic. Saturday starts mostly cloudy with a high near 58 degrees Fahrenheit. By Saturday night, we've got a 50 percent chance of showers, with temperatures dropping to around 49 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sunday brings a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. Expect cloudy conditions with a high near 59 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next week continues the cloudy trend with temperatures gradually warming up, potentially reaching 67 degrees Fahrenheit by Tuesday, with a slight chance of showers midweek.
