Good morning, Chicago! It's your friendly neighborhood weather wizard here with the latest atmospheric adventure for the Windy City.

Buckle up for a chilly rollercoaster ride of winter weather! Tonight, we're looking at a snow likely scenario with cloudy skies and temperatures holding steady around 24 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect west southwest winds around 10 miles per hour, with gusts up to 15 miles per hour. There's a 70 percent chance of precipitation, and we might see a light dusting of less than one inch of snow.

Thursday brings more snow, mainly before 10 in the morning. We'll start cloudy and then gradually clear up, with temperatures dropping to a brisk 18 degrees Fahrenheit by late afternoon. Northwest winds will be blowing at 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts reaching up to 25 miles per hour. Another light snow accumulation of less than half an inch is possible.

Thursday night turns crystal clear but frigid, with temperatures plummeting to around 3 degrees Fahrenheit. Wind chill values could dip as low as negative 8 degrees Fahrenheit. Our west northwest winds will be gentle, blowing at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Friday keeps the cold trend going with increasing clouds and a high near 21 degrees Fahrenheit. Wind chill values will hover around negative 9 degrees Fahrenheit.

The weekend looks a bit more promising. Saturday will surprise us with a mostly sunny day and temperatures climbing to a more comfortable 36 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday follows suit with mostly sunny skies and a high near 29 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next week continues the winter dance with mostly sunny days and temperatures gradually warming up, reaching near 39 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday.
