What would be President Trump’s “proudest legacy”?

Published 1 year, 4 months ago
Description

The inauguration of Donald J. Trump occupied center stage yesterday as he took hold of office as our forty-seventh president. But he also stated, “My proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker and unifier.” In today’s article, we consider a statement from a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. sermon: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” What does that look like in our lives and nation today?
