Divine Visitst🔥 Peter and John, Evidence that you been to Jesus (Part 4)

By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

Acts 4:13

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN TO JESUS YOU WILL TAKE A BOLD AND YET BE COURTEOUS AT THE SAME TIME.

Christianity will make a man a gentleman. Christ was courteous, even to His persecutors; and His true followers will manifest the same spirit. – {MH 489.4}

Acts 4:18-20

And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 19But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. 20For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

Acts 5:29

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Christ Himself did not suppress one word of truth, but He spoke it always in love. He exercised the greatest tact, and thoughtful, kind attention in His intercourse with the people. He was never rude, never needlessly spoke a severe word, never gave needless pain to a sensitive soul. He did not censure human weakness. He fearlessly denounced hypocrisy, unbelief, and iniquity, but tears were in His voice as He uttered His scathing rebukes. – {DA 353.1}

Ephesians 4:15

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Colossians 4:6

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Proverbs 31:26

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

John 7:45-46

Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? 46The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭3:8-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.”

Psalm 19:14

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Song 🎵 God Help Me Speak a Helping Word

1 If any little word of mine

May make a dark life brighter,

If any little song of mine

May make a sad heart lighter.

Chorus:

God help me speak the helping word,

And sweeten it with singing.

And drop it in some lonely vale,

To set the echoes ringing.

2 If any little love of mine

May make a hard life sweeter,

If any little care of mine

May make a friend's the fleeter. [Chorus]

3 If any little lift of mine

May ease a toiler bending,

God give me love, and care, and strength,

We live for Him by lending. [Chorus]
